The Dezometshiki is a ceremony to mark the beginning of work by those involved in the firefighting industry. On the day of the ceremony, in addition to the review of fire engines and helicopters, there will be an ensemble performance by the firefighting band and the brass band of the Municipal Technical College, and a pledge for a safe city by kindergarten children.
This year, the various performances and drills will begin with a calligraphy performance by calligrapher Bisen Aoyagi.
