In accordance with the “Kobe City Sign Language for Everyone Ordinance”, the City of Kobe will hold a meeting to seek opinions from a wide range of Deaf people, supporters and specialists about the city’s policy for promoting the sign language of the city.

- Those who wish to observe the meeting are requested to apply to the Disability Welfare Division by Friday, March 10.
- If you need a sign language interpreter, a written summary or a magnetic loop, please let us know at the time of application.
- Photography, video recording, and audio recording of the meeting are not permitted.
5. Other
- In accordance with the national notice “Review of the concept of wearing masks” (decided by the Headquarters for Countermeasures to Combat New Coronavirus Infections on February 10, 2023), the wearing of masks to prevent new coronavirus infection is left to the discretion of the individual.
- Basic infection prevention measures will be taken at the event.
- Please refrain from attending the meeting if you have a fever or other symptoms or if you are not feeling well.
