Mikage Local Sake Festival 2023″ will be held at Mikage Market under the elevated Hanshin Mikage Station on April 23.
Local sake tasting booths (for a fee) will be set up in the aisles of the market and in the exchange plaza. Sake from five companies, including Hamafukutsuru’s “Kuuzo” and Kobe Shukushinkan’s “Fukuju,” can be enjoyed for as little as 200 yen per cup.
On the day of the event, not only stores inside the market such as “Ginmox” and “Charcoal Grill Yakitori Ikki Chicken Karate” but also stores outside the market such as “Okaged Tofu An” and “Polaris” will set up booths and sell delicious snacks.
Nadanon, a sake prince who is a yurukyara character of Nada and has come to protect good sake, will also visit the market.
A stamp rally will also be held at the same time. If you shop at Mikage Market “Umusuikan” and collect 5 stamps, you will be entered into a drawing to win sake and other prizes.
Mr. Zhang of Hamafukutsuru said, “This is the first time in three years that the event has been held, and the sake breweries have been waiting for it for a long time. We hope the event will be a great success with many visitors,” he said, calling for more visitors. <A word from the reporter:
