Yamada Store opens a store in Rokko Island, a town where everyone can live with a smile

Rokko Island, a maritime cultural city, is a popular bedroom community surrounded by calm, safe, and secure streets, resort-like greenery, and the sea. The commercial facility “Kobe Fashion Plaza” (Higashinada-ku, Kobe), located in the center of the city, will undergo a complete renovation in the spring of 2024.

The concept is “a place to enjoy shopping like a marche full of greenery, a place to enjoy activities with parents, children, and friends, and a park-like facility where people can interact with each other”. The renewal aims to create an attractive facility that proposes new lifestyles to make Rokko Island and the surrounding area “a town where everyone can live with a smile”.

A new supermarket will open in the renovated Kobe Fashion Plaza, and a market and other community events will be held in the plaza with a fluffy dome.

The supermarket, which will be the center of daily life, will be operated by Yamada Store, which currently operates eight stores in the prefecture for the purpose of selling sustainable, high-quality natural foods and organic products. ＜A word from the reporter:
