On Saturday, July 1, 2023, service was suspended and delayed on the Kobe New Transit Rokko Island Line due to a train breakdown. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused to passengers.

16:10 min. | An up train bound for Sumiyoshi was running between Minami-Uosaki Track 2 and Uosaki Track 2. emergency brake was activated, causing a stop between stations. |
16:12 | Station and train attendants are dispatched to the train in question. |
5:00 p.m. | The emergency brake was released and the train resumed operation. |
5:01 p.m. | The train arrives at Uozaki Station, and commercial operation is suspended at that station. |
No passengers (approx. 75) on the train reported any health problems.
