Six 4th grade students from this school will hold a hands-on experience teaching programming and robot operation to elementary school students under the supervision of an industrial robot instructor in their research project class.

Project name: Find and collect robots to go beyond the famous pizza parlor! Operation Robot “Robo Mates”
Date: Tuesday, August 22, 2023, 13:00-16:00 (Registration starts at 12:30)
Venue: Kobe Technical High School (1-4-70, Wakihama-cho, Chuo-ku)
Contents: Participating elementary school students will visit robot parts placed in the school building like a stamp rally based on a map. They then assemble, program and operate the robots. The goal of the game is to challenge the robot to set up a production line that automatically produces pizzas. The students will be taught about robots under the supervision of an industrial robot instructor. *This program is open to 6th grade elementary school students in Kobe City.

An educational program to train “robot operators” and “robot system integrators,” who are necessary personnel when introducing “industrial robots,” which are attracting attention as a new labor force. Under the supervision of an industrial robot instructor, the College of Industrial Technology, Air Ground Corporation, and Kobe Technical High School jointly developed a teaching robot.
