The “Tektekku Bread Festival” will be held at Housing Design Center Kobe (HDC Kobe) in front of JR Kobe Station for three days from September 1 to 3. Admission is free.
This popular event brings together popular bakeries in the Keihanshin area, and this year, a total of 52 bakeries will open stalls during the festival, selling their autumn breads early. On the 2nd and 3rd, the event will be held simultaneously at ABC Housing Kobe Ekimae Housing Park, located about a 2-minute walk from the center, where freshly baked bread will also be on sale.
Stalls that will be open during the event include Senboku-do, a stone oven-baked bakery in Sakai City, Osaka, which has been featured in numerous media reports and has many repeat customers nationwide; Anello Panini KOBE in Higashinada Ward, Kobe, known as a panini specialty store run by an Italian chef; and the National Curry Bread Grand Prix and “sumheart” on Awaji Island, which won the gold award for its specialty Awaji beef curry bread at the National Curry Bread Grand Prix 2022 and 2023.
More details will be announced on the official website as needed.
