Family Festa: Let’s have fun learning about disaster prevention, crime prevention, and emergency services in Port Island” will be held at Port Island Civic Plaza on May 5. Admission is free.
With the cooperation of local police and fire departments, this event aims to help children learn about traffic safety, fire, and earthquake disaster prevention, to raise their awareness of disaster prevention, and to create a lively and active community.
On the day of the event, police cars, fire trucks, ambulances, and even amphibious vehicles, which are rarely seen, will be on display, and visitors will be able to take commemorative photos with these vehicles.
In addition, police officers and firefighters will be on hand to give parents and children traffic safety classes, disaster prevention classes to learn about earthquakes, and a corner where visitors can try using water extinguishers and AEDs.
There will also be a demonstration by the fire rescue team to rescue the injured from high places, and a concert by the Hyogo Prefectural Police Band. There will also be a food and beverage corner with kitchen cars and a Port Liner goods sales corner at the venue.
<Comments from the person in charge>
There will be many events that the whole family can enjoy and learn from, which were also held last year. Taking pictures with police cars and motorcycles, which are usually hard to see up close, is also very popular. We look forward to seeing you there.

This event is recommended not only for children who love working cars, but also for families to raise their awareness of disaster prevention!
