Enjoy autumn by going to various places for 3 consecutive weekends!

This weekend is a three-day weekend… the weather is getting cooler and more comfortable.

The “Autumn Rose Festival” will be held at Harima Chuo Park (Kato City) with approximately 1,900 roses in full bloom, and the “Autumn Festival” will be held at Kaijinsha Shrine (Tarumi Ward, Kobe City).

Solemn futon drums parade through Tarumi! Autumn Festival at Kaijinsha Shrine, Kobe City

The “Autumn Festival” will be held at Kaijinja Shrine in Tarumi Ward, Kobe City. The parade of portable shrines will proceed about 300 meters from the shrine to a boat moored on the wharf of Tarumi fishing port. The parade is a spectacle to behold as the portable shrines are thrown up in unison amidst confetti and shouts of encouragement. The “futon-daiko” (futon drum), a specialty of the Kaijinja Autumn Festival, will be paraded through the streets of Tarumi from October 10 to 12.
