From February 4 to March 26, “Harukisai (Spring Festival)” will be held at the Kobe City Botanical Garden in Kita-ku, Kobe City.
This is an annual event held at this time of year when beautiful flowers begin to bloom, heralding the arrival of spring.
Various events will be held during the festival. Workshops to make “hina dolls in the forest” using natural materials (February 18 and 19 / advance reservations required), “Early Spring Forest Guided Tours for Children” (March 4 and 11 / advance reservations required), “Spring is Here! Forest Guided Tours for Children” (March 18 and 25/advance registration required).
Also, “Let’s Play in the Forest! Tanken Quiz: Winter to Early Spring,” where participants will receive an original postcard. <
Staff members will introduce plants that are at their best in the park during “Walking Tour in the Park. (Held only on Sundays and national holidays during the period. (Two sessions: 1) from 10:30 a.m. to 2) from 1:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., both held in front of the Forest Exhibition Hall on the same day.
