1. main purpose
For movie lovers, for public bathhouses, for bathhouse lovers, for movie theaters!
The film ” Yudo” ( distributed by Toho), which will be released nationwide on February 23, 2023 (national holiday), depicts the joy and pleasure of taking a bath through the conflict between the younger brother who tries to protect the family bathhouse business and the older brother who wants to close it down and change its business type, and the conflict that arises because the bathhouse is loved by local people.
The Kobe Film Office (Kobe Tourism Bureau) supported the filming of this movie, which was shot in four locations in the city.
To commemorate the release of the film, a leaflet will be prepared and distributed to introduce the locations and facilities where the film was shot, as well as to guide visitors to public bathhouses in the city. 2.
