　The Kobe Oji Zoo and J:COM West Inc. (J:COM) will begin broadcasting “Oji Zoo and Zoo TV”, a program in support of the Oji Zoo, on the Kansai-wide community channel “J:COM Channel” (terrestrial digital 11ch) on Monday, April 3, 2023, from 10:00 The program will also be available on YouTube and on the program’s website. 　Under the theme of “Minna-no-Ouen Oji Zoo” (Everyone is welcome at the Oji Zoo), “Oji Zoo to Zutto Itsusho TV” is a program that conveys the zoo’s efforts to a wider audience and continuously supports the zoo together with 17 companies that are supporters of the support program project. The program also aims to support the recovery of the number of visitors that declined due to the Corona disaster, and to introduce what the Oji Zoo was like before its renewal, and to record it on video for future reference. The program introduces unknown ecology and behind-the-scenes aspects of the zoo that are not usually seen, in order to provide visitors with an opportunity to learn about the approximately 130 species of animals that live at the Oji Zoo, including the popular giant pandas and koalas. The program will also show the charm of the zoo, which is full of new discoveries and surprises, such as the zoo’s efforts to protect rare animals and SDGs, by interweaving commentary with treasured footage shot by the zookeepers.
