On April 30, “The 1st Frohes Fest” will be held at “Kirakuen Fika Suma no Oka”, a residence for the elderly in Suma-ku, Kobe. Anyone can participate and admission is free.

Frohes Fest” means “the best holiday” in German, and this year’s event was planned with the theme of “Enjoying the best holiday” for adults and children alike by watching, eating, and experiencing.
Baked goods from popular patisseries!
In addition to baked goods from the popular patisserie “Patissier nishikawa-kenji” located at the facility, curry, hamburgers, freshly picked pesticide-free vegetables, and more were sold at the event. In addition to handmade accessories and cloth goods, there will also be a mobile bookstore and sundry goods as well as a select store in Kobe, and Turkish goods will be sold as support for the Turkey-Syria earthquake.
Dance Team KISH
In addition to dance and taiko performances by five other teams, visitors can try their hand at “art flowers using sawdust,” resin clay and pastel art using wood shavings, and more.
