On April 6, “Small Chinese Restaurant ROKU” opened in the Settsu Motoyama area, just north of the Shoji intersection on National Route 2.
The owner, Mr. Nakamura, has a background as a chef at the popular Chinese restaurant “Chinese Food Eito,” which was originally located here. He became independent when the restaurant moved to a new location, and remained here to open the new restaurant.
The “ROKU” in the name of the restaurant is the number “6,” which represents his desire to take two steps back from “eito,” where he worked, and humbly continue to gain more and more experience. The name “ROKU” is a number six.

In the evening, in addition to the Chinese lineup, the restaurant recommends creative seafood dishes made with fresh fish purchased that day. The menu is said to change depending on the season and stocking. <A word from the reporter>
About half of the customers who have come to the restaurant since its opening are those who came because they knew the taste of the food from the previous restaurant! Lunch comes with side dishes and dim sum, making it a great value!
