RIC Rose Garden Opens for the Season “The 12th Rokko

The 12th Rokko Island Rose Festival” will start on May 13th at RIC Rose Garden (Rokko Island Rose Garden), located on the west side of Island Center Station of Rokko Liner, until May 28th.

The RIC Rose Garden was established in 2011 by local residents and Kobe International University. The garden is designed in the style of an English border garden, mixing not only roses, but also perennials and annuals, and visitors can enjoy a variety of colorful flowers.
During the event, free postcards with designs of roses blooming in the garden will be given away (14-28 May), and students from Kobe International University will serve tea and cake at the Rose Cafe (13th and 14th May).

On May 13, the first day of the opening, an opening ceremony will be held. The theme of the ceremony will be “Wine and Music Gathering,” and Kobe wine will be served to the first 300 visitors on a first-come-first-served basis. <A word from the reporter>
