The event had been postponed for three years due to the effects of the new coronavirus. It will be held as a commemorative event to celebrate the “50th anniversary of the Kita Ward’s establishment” on August 1 this year.
At the fun corner, there will be an air playground equipment slide, a mini 4-wheel drive course, and the first appearance of the “Shintetsu Mini Train,” a miniature train running on rails, at the Kitakita Festival. In addition, there will be an exhibition area where visitors can take pictures with fire engines and ambulances.
Past events
The stage events will include performances by local groups and children, and “Watanabe Flower,” an exciting rock ‘n’ roll band for everyone, will appear on stage. Also, at the end of the stage program, the annual Mochimaki (rice cake pounding) will be held. <A word from the reporter>
