On July 30, “Night on the Galactic Railroad” will be performed at “Kodomo Hon no Mori Kobe” in Chuo Ward, Kobe City. The event is targeted at children from 5 years old to elementary school age and their guardians, and advance registration is required by June 30.
The event is organized by the performance group HIxTO, which carries out various creative projects based on the theme of “designing society through the body,” and was decided to hold this event since they will perform a stage piece combining contemporary dance and theater based on Kenji Miyazawa’s “Night on the Galactic Railroad” in August. The event was decided to be held in August.
The event, which will be held as a “theater experience” prior to the screening of the play, will include a dance performance on the wooden deck outside the theater and a “physical performance” featuring the team’s specialties.
The person in charge of the event says, “We hope that children who have never been to a theater before will enjoy the world of stories expressed through dance and theater.
<I am interested in the performance that uses the body! I am looking forward to seeing how the well-known “Night on the Galactic Railroad” will be expressed.
