A summer vacation event will be held at “Kobekkoland” (Hyogo Ward, Kobe City) from August 11. Admission is free.
The facility, which relocated and reopened in Hyogo Ward, Kobe City, in February this year, has more powerful facilities than before, including “net play equipment” for children aged 6 to 12 and a “play room” where children can play while feeling the warmth of wood. During the summer, the fountain in the outdoor Kid’s Garden is also in operation. The fountain will be in operation for 5 minutes every hour from 10:00 to 16:00.
From August 11 to 20, a large air playground will appear in the hall, and there will also be events such as “Geiko University x Wood Craft” (August 20 to 23) and “Kobekko Science Festa by Junior and Senior High School Students” (August 23), where visitors can enjoy crafts using various types of wood from Kobe City.
A summer festival event by volunteer leaders is also scheduled for September 3.
<A word from the reporter:
This is a valuable facility where you can play physically without worrying about the scorching summer heat!
My family is also very much indebted to it (laughs)
