On September 9, “Nada Sake and Music Dinner Show” will be held at Kobe Shu-shin-kan (Higashinada-ku, Kobe).
Since its establishment in 1751, Kobe Shu-shin-kan has won many awards at sake competitions held in Japan and abroad. The company’s junmai ginjo sake has been served at official Nobel Prize events, and the sake brewery is also highly acclaimed overseas.
At this event, “Fukuju,” a sake recognized around the world, will be served with a special kaiseki dinner from Sakabayashi, a ryotei restaurant in the Kobe Shu-shin-kan brewery. Along with a welcome drink, guests will enjoy a historical explanation of Western (classical) music, which was first brought to Kobe at the end of the 19th century, and a historical performance in reproduction costumes.
With a sake and classical music talk show by creator and music producer Taku Minamide, and a performance of masterpieces of classical music by pianist Ayaka Yonemoto, guests will be able to enjoy a fusion of Western and Japanese music.
Please note that junior high school students and older may be seated at the same table for a child’s fee, but elementary school students and younger are not allowed; each table is limited to approximately 6 people, and one table is reserved for a group of 5 people or more. Free parking is available, but no alcoholic beverages may be served to drivers.
