Kobe City: Accepting Applications for Student Short-Time Employment in FY2023

Kobe City will accept applications for fiscal year appointment staff (general office work) as Student Short-Time Employment with the aim of deepening the understanding of university students and others about the work of city hall and forming their motivation to take the staff recruitment examination.

Outline

(1) Type of appointment
Fiscal year appointment staff (general office work)

(2) Working hours
Assumed to work about 9 hours per week

(3) Term of Office
From the date of employment (early November 2023) to February 29, 2024

(4) Recruitment requirements and number of recruits
Recruitment requirements: Applicants who satisfy both of the following:
– First to third year university students and first year graduate school students who are interested in working for the City of Kobe
– Applicants who plan to conduct job hunting activities including for private companies

Number of recruits: Approximately 30

(5) Duties
Regular and routine duties such as internal clerical work and light window support

(6) Salary
1,121 yen per hour (including regional allowance)

(7) Working hours
Approximately 9 hours per week (2 days per week in principle from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.)
*May vary depending on work location and other factors.
*Allocation of working days and hours will be determined at each assignment site after employment.
