World Shakuhachi Day! in Kodomo Hon no Mori Kobe” (Children’s Book Forest, Kobe)

October 8 is “Shakuhachi Day” in Japanese.
On this “World Shakuhachi Day,” shakuhachi and shinobue artists who are active both in Japan and abroad will be invited to a concert.
Through professional performances and talks, you can discover new charms of shakuhachi and shinobue, which are different from the image of traditional musical instruments.

On the same day, “La Fes,” an event organized by Design and Creative Center Kobe KIITO, will be held in the surrounding Higashi-Yuenchi Park and KIITO, so please join us.
You will be able to experience Kobe’s food culture and creative activities.
