A festival where everyone who comes will want to start something!

Life is Creative Fest (La Fest♪), a commemorative event for KOBE Design Day, will be held on October 8 and 9 around the Flower Road area in Chuo Ward, Kobe City, with the aim of “getting everyone creative.

A variety of programs are planned for children, students, adults, and seniors of all ages to experience creative activities.

On October 8, “La Fes Marche” will be held at Higashi Yuenchi, where visitors can feel close to the activities of creative artists through workshops to enjoy making things and selling sundries and crafts, and a lighting event will be held from around dusk, where lights made from colorful paper bags and candles will decorate the venue.

On October 9, bread and madeleines will be sold by a team of children and senior men, and a “Kimono Remake Fashion Show” created by a team of children and senior women will be held at KIITO. Talk sessions on “The Future of Fashion City Kobe” and “Meets+DESIGN: Tasting the Earth at the Grass and Straw Table,” a collaborative space for chefs and creators, will be held at KIITO, with advance reservations required.

In addition, “Sampomiya,” a collaboration of facilities in the Sannomiya area under the theme of “learning and walking,” is also planned.
