Dorogawa Education for a Memorable Christmas Camp Experience in Nature

A “Christmas Day Camp” for elementary school students in Kobe City will be held at Dorogawa Educational Campsite (Kita-ku, Kobe City) on December 10. The event will be held even in light rain, and applications are being accepted until November 20 (maximum capacity of 30 students). If there are too many applicants, a drawing will be held.

During the Christmas season at the end of the year, a Christmas program is prepared for elementary school children to enjoy outdoor activities. Through this event, the program also aims to nurture independence and a zest for life by experiencing the beauty of nature unique to winter and spending time together with friends.

In addition to Christmas-related nature experience activities, outdoor cooking (roast chicken), and making baking boards as a craft, nature experience games will also be held.

On the day of the camp, participants will gather in front of the HDC on the south side of JR Kobe Station at 9:00 a.m., take a bus to the Dorogawa Educational Campsite, enjoy Christmas Day Camp, and then disperse at around 4:30 p.m. at the same place where the participants gathered.

This is the first time this Christmas Day Camp has been held. We hope that many children will have a memorable and moving experience.
