Kobe Tokiwa Arena (Nagata-ku, Kobe) will host the “Kobe-Awaji Great Earthquake Reconstruction Prayer Concert – Talking in Song”. Advance tickets are available until January 13. Same-day tickets will also be available.
The 14th concert is an audience-participation type concert held with the aim of delivering requiem songs and messages to those who lost their lives in the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake and to encourage them to take stronger steps forward. The concert will also feature “Chicken Garlic Steak,” an a cappella group from Kobe, as a guest performer.
The most distinctive feature of the concert is that, in keeping with the concept of “1,000 voices singing together,” singers from the general public are being widely invited to participate. Anyone from elementary school age and up who wishes to pray for the recovery of the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, and who wishes to “energize Japan through song” by thinking of and cherishing the disaster-stricken areas throughout Japan, is welcome to participate in the concert. The application period has ended.

The time when we all unite our hearts and think about the repose of the souls and hope for the future will be an irreplaceable time for all of us. I might like to participate next year as a singer in the general call for applications.
