Press Release (January 17, 2024)
International Sports Office, Culture and Sports Bureau
In preparation for the Kobe 2024 World Para Athletics Championships to be held in May 2024, a hands-on program “Parareso” is being held from this year.
Parareso” is a generic name for a learning program that aims to realize a symbiotic society in which everyone can play an active role by learning about the world of para-sports and recognizing the differences of each individual. Resonance is the phenomenon of creating deeper understanding by empathizing with the feelings and thoughts of others. The first step toward a symbiotic society is for each person’s individuality to resonate with each other, and it is with this in mind that “Parareso,” a cross between para-sports and resonance, was born.
The “Paralelazo for School” program, a hands-on class for school children in the city, will be held on the following dates.
