Enjoy the spring on the Rokko Island with 30,000 tulips!

The 23rd Rokko Island Tulip Festival, a popular event held annually during this season, will be held at Rokko Island (Higashinada-ku, Kobe City) from March 20. The festival will last until April 7.

This year marks the 23rd event. In addition to enjoying viewing and photographing beautiful tulips, visitors can easily participate in a flower popularity contest, stamp rally, quiz, and other activities via smartphone. In addition, a sketching contest will also be held, allowing visitors to spend a relaxing time in the warm spring weather.

The event will take place in five flowerbeds between “Island Center Station” and “Marine Park Station. The five flowerbeds between “Island Center Station” and “Marine Park Station” are decorated with approximately 30,000 tulips, and each year they are breathtakingly beautiful.

This year, many new species of tulips have joined the festival. In the A flower bed, in particular, original tulips are displayed in planters, and the number of varieties is said to be larger than last year. In the C flower bed, the first attempt at “tulip art” was made! What kind of shape it will take will be a “fun to see ♡”.

Postcards (a set of illustrations designed by the Rokko Island High School Art Club and photos of tulips) will be distributed to those who participate in the event (limited quantities, will end when all the cards are gone).
