The Kobe Nightscape Official Guide “Kobe de Night” site is provided by the Kobe Tourism Bureau and Kobe City Urban Bureau, Landscape Policy Division.
It introduces information on light-up and illumination in the city, night view spots, and model courses for night view viewing.
The site has now been renewed as a portal site with nighttime sightseeing information.
In addition to the night view-related events that have been introduced so far, a wide range of events held at night, such as night markets and night tours, will be introduced.
In addition, the latest information on each event, information on how to enjoy night views and jazz, frequently asked questions, and an event information submission form have been added.

(1) Enhancement of information on events held during night time
In
addition
to illuminations and fireworks held in the city, “night markets” and “night tours” will be introduced in a timely manner, as well as a wide range of information on nighttime events.
In addition, event information can now be searched based on various criteria such as location, duration, availability of restrooms and parking, etc. To enhance Kobe’s nightlife, information on events sponsored by various businesses will also be collected
.
A submission form will be set up. The information received will be introduced on the official website as needed.
*The events for night time tourism such as illumination, jazz, night markets, festivals, etc. are eligible.
*There are certain rules regarding the event information to be posted.
(2) Addition of feature pages introducing jazz events and the history of Kobe jazz
Kobe is the city where Japan’s first professional jazz band was born. Kobe is believed to be the city where a professional jazz band led by violinist Ichiro Ida performed in 1923, and many events were held in the city last year to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Kobe Jazz.
To help visitors enjoy jazz, which is an essential part of Kobe’s nightlife, we have added a special page that allows you to search for jazz events, jazz bars, live houses, and other spots throughout the city, as well as a page introducing the history of Kobe jazz.
