DCM to Absorb and Merge with Keiyo
DCM, a subsidiary of major home improvement retailer DCM Holdings, announced that it will absorb Keiyo in September 2024!
DCM Holdings announced a capital and business alliance with Keiyo in 2017, and conducted a takeover bid (TOB) last year, making Keiyo a wholly owned subsidiary in January 2024. Keiyo’s home improvement center “Keiyo D2” will be unified into “DCM” as of September 1, 2024 (Sunday) through an absorption-type merger.

DCM is unifying the store names of DCM Kama, DCM Daiki, DCM Homac, DCM Sanwa, and DCM Kuroganeya into “DCM” as of September 1, 2022 (Thursday), and the logo mark used for store signs and signs is being changed from March for a period of about two years. Currently, there are two DCM stores in Akashi City: the DCM Akashi store near Akashi Park and the Keiyo Day2 Akashi Okubo store in Nishiwaki, Okubo-cho!
In the past, there was a “DCM Daiki-Uozumi Store” in Nagasakadera, Uozumi-cho, but this store was closed on Sunday, December 3, 2017, and “Hello’s Uozumi Store” opened on the site on Friday, July 27, 2018
