Kobe: City Library return to Kobe Fashion Museum Library

Overview

In order to

improve user convenience, the City Library, in cooperation with the Kobe Fashion Museum, has decided to install a return post in the museum’s library

.

2. Background of Installation

The City

Library has installed a book return post outside the library in order to provide finished books to the next user as soon as possible, and to make it easier for users to return books, which in turn makes it easier for them to borrow books.
We have now decided to install them at the Kobe Fashion Museum in Kobe Fashion Plaza, located in the center of Rokko Island.
We hope that the installation of the municipal library return post will trigger the use of the library and the library respectively.

About the Kobe Fashion Museum Library

As a specialized library,

the Kobe Fashion

Museum Library

holds valuable materials, including books on fashion from Japan and abroad,

as

well as magazines in the fashion field from their first issues

.

:

10:00-18:00 (same as the library hours)
*Closed: Mondays (if Monday is a national holiday, the library will be open on Monday and closed on the following weekday) and the year-end and New Year holidays

6. Start date of use

April 25, 2024 (Thursday)

Books placed in the return box will be collected twice a week on Wednesday and Saturday mornings, and returned to the Higashinada Library for processing. Until this process is completed, the book will remain in “on loan” status.
