Hirosaki Neputa in Kobe 2024″ will be held at Takahama Quay in Kobe Harborland (Chuo-ku, Kobe) from May 31 to June 2.
This event is planned to attract more visitors between Aomori and Kobe in the wake of the start of the Aomori – Kobe route operated by Fuji Dream Airlines (FDA).
The Hirosaki Neputa is a traditional summer event held annually in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture, and is one of the “Four Great Hirosaki Festivals. This year’s festival will feature a nighttime display of a large Neputa, Neputa music performances, sales of local products, and a parade of floats.
On June 1, the festival will be held in collaboration with the “Port of Kobe Weekend Fireworks” held every other Saturday offshore from Kobe Meriken Park (the parade and the “Port of Kobe Weekend Fireworks” may be cancelled due to strong winds).
This is a rare event that is not easily seen in Kobe.
