【2024】Akashi Civic Library and Western Library will be open in the latter half of June for collection inspection.

Located on the 5th floor of Papios Akashi in front of Akashi Station Akashi Civic Library and “Akashi Seibu Library” in Nakao, Uozumi-cho Akashi Seibu Library located on the 5th floor of Papios Akashi in front of Akashi Station, will be closed temporarily for a long period of time!

The periods during which each library will be closed are as follows

• Akashi City Library: June 18 (Tue.) – June 25 (Sun.), 2024
• Akashi Seibu Library: June 26 (Wed.) – July 1 (Mon.), 2024

Please note that the number of books and days of borrowing have been changed during certain periods due to the library closures!

As for the long-term arrangement, Akashi City Library states on its website that “the long-term arrangement will be held within 10 days from April to June”, which does not mean that the schedule is the same every year. It is a little later this year!
