For one night only on June 28, The Garden Place Suzuen (Higashinada-ku, Kobe) will hold a special dinner to be enjoyed with “Tamba Wine”.
The Garden Place Suzhouen was built in 1934 and is now a wedding hall and restaurant. The event will feature a special dinner with “Tamba Wine” brewer Mari Uchitaka, who will explain about the wine.
Six selected Tamba wines will be served at the event, including “Long Aged Sparkling Sparkling in Bottle,” “Tamba Wine Kyoto Tamba Sauvignon Blanc 2021,” and “Tamba Wine Kyoto Sparkling Saperavi 2023.
The special dinner course, created by Suzuen chef Yuji Shirai for the occasion, featured five dishes: “Akashi Tako Genovese” and “Bresaola Salad with Rokko Hime Beef” as appetizers, “Padella with Marinated Sea Bass and Eggplant” as fish, “Char-grilled Kawachi Duck with Corn Risotto” as meat, and “Dolce & Formaggio” as a dessert. You can enjoy the marriage of Tamba wine and local cuisine with seasonal flavors to your heart’s content.
