Can Do” will be held on
November 19, 2023 (Sun.) at the Meridian Hall on the 9th floor of the North Building of Aspia Akashi, a commercial facility in front of Akashi Station, as part of the Child Abuse Prevention Month awareness program
!
The
first part of the event will be a screening of the movie “189” about child abuse, and the second part will be a lecture by an Akashi Children’s Center staff member about the current situation of child abuse in Akashi City
.
The event is completely free of charge with advance reservations required, so if you are interested, why not attend?

The “189” movie to be screened this time is a Japanese film released on December 3, 2021. It depicts child welfare officers and lawyers who work hard to save small lives that call for help on the abuse response dial “189” of the Child Guidance Center.
