Press Release (July 26, 2024)
Resource Recycling Division, Environment Bureau
The city is promoting the use of Kobe Kiello, a handmade composting system that breaks down food waste. Reducing food waste, which accounts for one-third of the combustible waste from households, will help reduce the amount of fuel used for garbage transportation and the carbon dioxide emissions generated during garbage incineration. Here is an opportunity for you and your family to get involved in the Kobe Kiero during your summer vacation. Why don’t you get involved in the SDGs this summer with Kobe Kiello?
1. How to start Kobe Quiero
On the official website of Kobe Quiero, we introduce how to start Kobe Quiero and tips on how to successfully break it down in an easy-to-understand manner through videos and guidebooks. Also, a collection of tips for children to work on the KOBEQUILLO for their free research during their summer vacation is available.
