Craft Beer, Wine and Sake Gulping Comparison! Kobe Sanda

Kobe Sanda Premium Outlets (Kita-ku, Kobe City) will hold the “Gubitto Garden – Enjoy Sake from Hyogo” event from August 10 to 12, 2011, where you can enjoy local Hyogo sake.

This is the first time for this gourmet event to be held at the facility, where visitors can enjoy a wide variety of Hyogo and Kobe sake from breweries, wineries, and sake breweries in the Kobe area.

The event is named “Gubitto Garden” (not beer garden) so that visitors can enjoy a variety of local alcoholic beverages “gubitto” in the extraordinary and open atmosphere of Kobe Sanda Premium Outlets, accompanied by kitchen car gourmet foods such as yakitori and garlic shrimp, which are “perfect snacks with alcohol”. MOON BREWERY” will offer various kinds of craft beers made with plenty of organic Koshihikari rice grown in-house in Nishi-ku, Kobe, in sizes and prices that are easy to compare.

Kobe Winery” red wine, white wine, sparkling wine, juice (Merlot), Rokko Cider, 300-600 yen each (tax included)

Karihariichi Shuzo, a Japanese sake brewery in Tanba Sasayama established in 1916 (opening on August 10), will sell seasonal “Shugetsu Tsuki no Himuro Junmai Shu Nama”, and “Kobe Winery” will sell special wine made from Kobe grapes, including red, white, sparkling, and of course non-alcoholic grape juice. (Soft drinks will also be available at some other stores).

In addition, tables and chairs with colorful neon lights will be set up at the venue in the evening, so you can enjoy a meal during the day while outlet shopping, and eat and drink in a photogenic festive atmosphere at night.
