Let’s end the summer with a festival “filled with excitement! Flower

On August 24, “Night Market in Flower Town” will be held on the “Hanamizuki Bridge” (Sanda City), just off the Shintetsu Flower Town Station. Admission is free.

A summer festival for everyone to enjoy with the themes of “Eat,” “Play,” and “Have Fun. You can feel the bond with the community and people, and summer vacation was well spent playing! The event was newly planned by “Metus,” a non-profit organization that organizes events in the city, with the aim of making this the event that closes out the summer and allows children to feel a sense of bonding with the community and other people, and to think that they had a great summer vacation!

The “Eating” booths offered a wide variety of food items, from the standard fried chicken and long fries to yakitori and yakisoba noodles, as well as dry curry that is easy for children to eat.

The shaved ice, available in 13 different flavors, includes a “Dracula” flavor, which is only available here, and a “Dracula” flavor, in which red blood is dripped onto the ice for those who wish to try it. A summer-only lineup of handmade doughnuts will also be available.

In the “play” area, there will be a variety of stalls offering a wide range of activities related to the “lights” that create summer nights, such as making original light sabers (600 yen, limited to 50 pieces), spoon scooping for hair accessories, candle scooping, glowing yubiwa and chou chou sales, and a lantern making workshop (500 yen).

The organizer hopes that visitors will “enjoy” the event by wearing yukata and capturing the moment in their photos.
