The 27th Mid-Autumn Festival will be held in Nanjing Town (Chuo Ward, Kobe City) from September 17 and 21 to 23.
This event started in 1998. The event started in 1998 and is held on the fifteenth day of the fifteenth month of the lunar calendar (August 15) to celebrate the harvest of the autumn season.
This year, the event will be held for four days, and on September 17, the day of the Mid-Autumn Festival, under the title of “Moonlight Kitchen,” Toshimitsu Ishii, chef at Suikouen in Kobe Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers, will sell “Oyster and Scallop with Spicy Powder” (1,800 yen), and Kobe International Cooking and Confectionery The Kobe International Culinary Institute will sell “Otsukimi Scotch Gyoza” (600 yen) (both items are limited and will be sold as soon as they are gone).
In addition, visitors will be able to visit the altar during the festival period, and during the three-day weekend starting on the 21st, a “lucky ball” (lottery) will be held, where you can win gift certificates that can be used for shopping in Nankinmachi.
During the festival, stage events such as lion dances and dragon dances will be held, and stores will sell moon cakes, a traditional Mid-Autumn Festival snack. The person in charge of the event commented, “After praying at the altar, you can try your luck at the ‘lucky ball’ and win a special prize! We hope you win the special prize.

This is an annual event that many people look forward to every year! I’m also interested in the special dishes and moon cakes that are available only on this day ♡
