Kobe City: “Asutepu Coworking Rokko Island” Operation and Temporary Childcare

Kobe City has established and operates “Asutep Coworking” ( https://astep.city.kobe.lg.jp/coworking/), a coworking space with free temporary childcare, to support women’s “work” and help working women and women who want to work to promote their employment and step up their careers. It supports working women and women who want to work to promote their employment and step up their career.

In addition to the two facilities currently in operation, “AsuTempu Coworking Kobe” and “AsuTempu Coworking Gakuentoshi”, “AsuTempu Coworking Rokko Island” will be newly established on Rokko Island to meet the demand in the eastern part of the city.

Therefore, we are looking for a business operator to manage the community and provide temporary childcare services at AsuTempu Coworking Rokko Island.

Contract period

From the date of contract conclusion (scheduled for late November 2024) to March 31, 2026

Maximum contract amount

31,000,000 yen (including consumption tax and local consumption tax)

Reference] Asutepu Coworking Rokko Island Facility Overview (tentative)

• Hours: Monday – Saturday 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  *Temporary childcare: Monday – Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 13:00 p.m. – 15:00 p.m.

• Location: Kobe Fashion Mart 1F, 6-9 Naka, Koyo-cho, Higashinada-ku, Kobe
• Closed: Sundays, national holidays, and year-end and New Year holidays (December 28 – January 4)
• Eligibility: Women who live or work in the city (men with children are also welcome)
• Fee: Free of charge
• Seating capacity: Approximately 20 seats
• Facilities: Wifi, power supply (all seats), private work booths, children’s space, nursing room (*shared within the building), etc.
• Scheduled opening: February 2025
