KOBE NIGHT PICNIC 2024 Minato Art Days” will be held at Meriken Park (Chuo-ku, Kobe) from November 2 to 4. Admission is free.
Visitors can draw pictures on the ground with special chalk, and in the evening the pictures will light up, creating an artistic scene.
The event will be held at Meriken Park, where graffiti is usually prohibited, and visitors can enjoy drawing on the ground with special chalk, and when the sun sets, the drawings will light up and create a fantastic space.
There will also be an outdoor cinema with the “BE KOBE” monument and the sea in the background, and a blue sky library area where visitors can relax on the grass.
The picnic area will feature a collection of famous local restaurants where visitors can enjoy a variety of cuisines. Dogs are welcome to accompany visitors, and stores selling dog goods will also be open.
Furthermore, on November 2, “Kobe Strut 2024,” which will be held for the first time in four years, will be held at the same time. This is a popular outdoor music festival held every year in a different area of Kobe City to showcase the city’s attractions. This year, visitors can enjoy the attractions of nine different areas of Kobe City with music, and a one-man live performance by Watanabe Flower is scheduled at the end of the festival.
The “Port of Kobe Weekend Fireworks” is also scheduled for the weekend, allowing visitors to enjoy fireworks along with the night view of Kobe. The fireworks will beautifully color the night sky with Kobe Port Tower and the Maritime Museum in the background.
