An exchange meeting between “Hyogo Kobe Women’s Career Advancement Companies (Mimosa Companies)” employees and students from Hyogo Prefecture will be held at Incubation Studio SoWelu (6 Suidosuji, Nada-ku, Kobe City) on November 11, 2012.
The event was initiated as a result of the “Mimosa Company” certification system, which was jointly established by Hyogo Prefecture and Kobe City in November 2022 to certify companies that promote women’s activities as “Mimosa Companies. So far, 139 companies have been certified. This year’s event was planned for female students in Hyogo Prefecture to learn about the appeal of the companies by interacting with “Mimosa Companies.
The project includes an information transmission project in which students introduce the appeal of “Mimosa Companies” via Instagram, a series of classes in which employees of Mimosa Companies serve as guest speakers at universities (3 sessions), and exchange events in November and February. By increasing opportunities for students to communicate and interact with Mimosa companies from their perspective, such as by students making videos of Mimosa companies as reporters and facilitating at exchange events, the event will create opportunities for students to learn more about Mimosa companies and think about their future career design.
Tomomi Takii, president of ICB (8 Gokodori, Chuo-ku, Tokyo), which operates the event, said, “At last year’s Mimosa Session, we received many requests for interaction from students. There are many companies in Hyogo Prefecture that are rewarding to work for and have systems in place to support individual success. We hope that this year’s Mimosa session will provide an opportunity for students to further connect with Mimosa companies and think about their careers.
We hope that many people will learn about the attractive companies in Hyogo Prefecture, which will help companies secure human resources and attract young people to the prefecture,” said Ms. Takayoi Tsurugimono, chief of the Hyogo Prefectural Gender and Youth Affairs Division.
The event will be held from 19:00 to 21:00. Admission is free.
