Gourmet Yamaoka” (headquartered in Amagasaki City), a food wholesaler that sells carefully selected ingredients and high-end foods imported directly from dozens of countries around the world, is currently holding the “Year-end Annual Yamaoka Saturday and Sunday Bazaar” at its distribution center in Higashinada-ku, Kobe City! The period is Saturdays and Sundays through December 22 and from December 27 to 31.
The event will be held on Saturdays and Sundays through December 22 and from December 27 through 31, and will feature a variety of interesting products, including crab, scallops, herring roe, and other seafood to brighten up your New Year’s table, rare items available only at Yamaoka, big year-end specials, and in-store-only products! The main product lineup includes a wide variety of crabs such as extra-large 6L size “Fresh Frozen Zuwai Crab (5kg),” 3L size “Boiled Zuwai Crab (5kg),” “Zuwai Crab Top Shaved (window opening) Cut (2kg, frozen)” which is easily processed to be eaten, “Zuwai Crab Half Cut for Raw Eating (1kg, frozen)” which is ready to eat as sashimi, and many more. Zuwai Crab Half Cut for Raw Consumption (1 kg/frozen), which can be eaten as sashimi.

In addition to crabs, other marine products on sale include chilled herring roe, an essential ingredient for Osechi dishes, frozen Hokkaido scallops for sashimi, salmon roe marinated in soy sauce, caviar (kalugashrenki), whale bacon, and more. In the aquarium, “Inatsu fugu (tiger pufferfish)” farmed in Amakusa, Kumamoto Prefecture, swims in a tank, and visitors can have it cooked on the spot.
Other products include carefully selected meat products such as black beef, horse sashimi, foie gras, and duck; processed meat products such as sausages, pâté, and cured ham; special meats such as kangaroo and alligator meat; fresh cheese; and frozen sweets. Many rare foodstuffs that are not available on the market are lined up, so those interested are encouraged to visit the venue!
