Let’s learn with veterinarians! The Connection between People and Animals

At the multipurpose hall of Akashi Animal Center in Okubo, Okubo-cho The event is called “Let’s Learn with Veterinarians! Let’s learn with a veterinarian! The Connection between People and Animals ” will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025. will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025!

Veterinarians from the Akashi Animal Center have been giving classes to 9 elementary schools in Akashi City. This event is arranged for the summer vacation event, and the content is the same as the event held during the summer vacation in 2022.

The event is open to elementary school students living in Akashi City (accompanied by a parent or guardian), with a maximum capacity of 18 groups per session. The deadline for application is July 22 (Tue.), so those interested should apply as soon as possible!

Using papier-mâché dolls, participants will think together about how to interact with pets, domestic animals, and wild animals.
We will also provide ideas for animal-themed free research with specific examples.

Participation will be determined by lottery.
The result of the lottery will be notified by e-mail between July 23rd and July 26th. (Winners are required to reply to the e-mail.

*No direct contact with the animals will be made.

*There is a duplication of content with the delivery lectures held for 2nd graders at 9 elementary schools in the city.
　Please note that if you have once attended a delivery lecture, please be aware of this.

*The content will be the same as the summer vacation event in 2022.
