Kobe City: The 35th Shiawase no Mura Festival

The 35th Shiawase no Mura Matsuri (Happiness Village Festival) will be held on September 13, 14, and 15, 2025 (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday national holidays), provided by the Kobe Citizens Welfare Promotion Association, Business Division
.
On stage, the festival will be enlivened by dance performances by the “HAPPY Choir” from Katsuragi Elementary School in Kobe City, the Kobe Koryo Gakuen High School Marching Band Club, the Hyogo Prefectural Kobe Suzurandai High School Japanese Drum Club, the Kobe City Firefighting Band, and a cheerleading dance team.
In addition, food stalls and kitchen cars will be set up by neighborhood associations, and there will be an area for hand-held fireworks (advance reservation required).

Number of people/groups: up to 6 people per group, 300 groups per day

How to apply

Advance application is required for those who wish to participate in the handheld fireworks.

Application: Friday, August 1, 9:00 a.m. to Monday, September 15, 20:00 p.m. (national holiday)

Fireworks time: ➀17:00, ②17:40, ③18:20, ④19:00, ⑤19:40, ⑥20:20 (30 minutes each time, 10 minutes changeover time)

Fee: 500 yen/pair

What to bring: (1) Handheld fireworks (Fireworks will be sold at the venue on the day of the event.

(*Blowing up, launching, and rocket fireworks are prohibited.

(2) Bucket (water will be available at the venue)

Lighters, matches, candles, etc.

Precautions:

Children under elementary school age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

We have a wheelchair-accessible section. If you wish to use it, please let us know at the time of application.

If you have a disability and need assistance, please let us know at the time of application.

Pets are not allowed in the fireworks display area.

Fireworks are not allowed in Shiawase-no-Mura.
