Kobe City: Appointment Ceremony for “Slope Ambassadors” for the Slope Town Kobe Project

The “Slope City Kobe Project” is an initiative to promote the improvement of issues while taking advantage of the attractiveness of Kobe’s slopes. We received 80 enthusiastic applications for the “Slope Ambassadors” position, the first project implemented this year. The appointment ceremony for the five groups selected through the selection process will be held as follows.

L’Arpe d’Huez (bicycle repair store)

• Creation of maps of steep hills for cyclists
• Cycling tours for beginner cyclists

Outline of the Slope Ambassador Project

Taking advantage of the existence of “enthusiastic slope fans” discovered at the FY2024 workshop, individuals and organizations will be appointed as ambassadors starting this year. We support activities based on free ideas that transcend administrative boundaries, with the aim of communicating sustainable attractions to the public.
