The 10th KOBE Academic Talk

The General Incorporated Association University City Kobe Industry-Government-Academia Platform holds “KOBE Academic Talks,” which combine presentations by and exchanges with researchers, in order to familiarize citizens with the diverse research findings of universities. In the 10th session, Kohei Shibasaki of the University of Hyogo and Wakana Azuma of Kobe University will discuss their advanced research on the theme of “Initiatives for the Future of Water and Forests: Sustainable Use and Conservation of Local Resources,” with reservoirs and satoyama as the starting points.

Please join us for this event to experience the forefront of sustainable management of local resources and ecosystem conservation, and to think about how sustainable local communities can be.
