Kobe Meriken Park (Chuo-ku, Kobe) “Meriken Park Wrestling Fest 2023” will be held on April 29 and 30. Admission and spectating are free.
“Make Kobe a city of pro wrestling! The event is organized by “Kobe Meriken Pro Wrestling,” which was launched on March 27, 2021, under the concept of “Making Kobe a city of pro wrestling! In addition to a children’s wrestling class, the festival features live music and dance performances, as well as a collection of kitchen cars and food stalls where you can enjoy gourmet food.
A special ring will be set up in the center of Meriken Park for the wrestling event, which is free to spectators. Twenty-six professional wrestlers from all over Japan, including Koji Kanemoto, the former Tiger Mask III, and Brother Yasshi, will participate in the two-day event. Kitchen cars lined up around the special ring will serve delicious food and drinks, making it a great place to watch the matches while eating and drinking.
Also, reggae musician J-REXXX, street dance troupe Akashi Breakers, and Kobe-based idol unit KOBerrieS♪ will be performing! Idol unit KOBerrieS♪ and many other artists will take part in the event and enliven the stage.
