Kaiten Sushiro has begun accepting reservations for “Sushi-ya no ehomaki” (sushi rolls), which will be on sale for a limited time from February 1 to 3 to coincide with Setsubun. Reservations are being accepted at each store, by phone, and online, and will be closed when the planned number is reached. The sushi rolls are only available for take-out and cannot be purchased for delivery.
In addition to the popular “Kaisen Kami-Tamaki”, “Kami-Tamaki”, and “Kimpa-Tamaki”, a set of “Setsubun Hosomaki” with ingredients popular among children has been newly introduced.
Kaisen Kamitamaki” 850 yen (tax included) length: approx. 9.5 cm
The “Kaisen Kami-Tamaki” is a luxurious futomaki roll with 10 different ingredients: wild red meat, shrimp, salmon roe, raw salmon, conger eel, green onion tuna, egg, medium ingredients (shiitake mushrooms and sweetened dried gourd), cucumber, and sakura denbu. Served in a half-size roll.
Kamitamaki” 550 yen (tax included), length: approx. 19 cm
The “Kamitamaki,” a traditional favorite as the restaurant’s standard ehomaki, contains seafood (boiled conger eel and shrimp), egg, dried tofu, dried gourd, cucumber, and sakura denbu.
Kimba Futomaki” 550 yen (tax included) length: approx. 19 cm
KIMPA Taimaki” is an original creative thick roll with seafood of salmon and shrimp, egg, shinko, cucumber, and the aroma of sesame and sesame oil, mellowed by mayonnaise.
Setsubun Hosomaki Set” 480 yen (tax included), length: approx. 9.5 cm
And this year, the “Setsubun Hosomaki Set” featuring three popular ingredients for children: green onion tuna, tuna & corn, and shrimp & cucumber will also be available. The easy-to-eat size allows everyone to enjoy Setsubun together.
In addition, “Sushiro To Go,” a take-out specialty restaurant, plans to sell “Kaisen Kamitamaki,” “Kamitamaki,” and “Kimpa Tamaki” only at “To Go JR Kobe Station Store” on February 3, which is the day of Setsubun.

The taste is exceptional because it is rolled up inside Sushiro’s store! The big top futomaki roll with a lot of luxurious seafood ingredients may be tempting, but if you want to bite into one, the standard top futomaki may be just right.
