B-Coffee Roastery,” a store offering specialty coffee roasted in-house, opened on April 23 at ROKKO i PARK (Higashinada-ku, Kobe), a shopping mall on Rokko Island that is attracting attention for its new look this year.
The store is a new type of café operated by Kobe Bell, and is the second store following the Seishin store, which opened last September and specializes in takeout. The Rokko i-Park store maintains the same commitment to coffee, but also offers food and sweets that are “gentle” and “delicious” to the body and mind.
The specialty coffees include Ethiopian, Colombian, Guatemalan, Brazilian, and Mandarin beans, as well as “Bell Blend,” a blend of four different beans, and a decaf selection.
The food menu includes three types of morning dishes using whole-grain bread and rice-flour pita bread, as well as a fresh pasta lunch using noodles with 30% less sugar content, all of which are healthy and made with consideration for the ingredients.
The lineup also includes additive-free and gluten-free terrine, as well as sweets such as B cookies, soft serve ice cream, and affogado.
The best of all is the tiramisu, which is made to order and served with freshly brewed espresso.
A store representative comments, “We aim to create a spot where coffee novices and coffee connoisseurs alike can enjoy themselves at any time throughout the day.
<A word from the reporter>
It’s nice to know that a café with a menu that is kind to the body can be used from 8:00 in the morning to 8:00 at night! I would like to use it at various times.
