Takaoka Community Center Citizen’s Lecture “Children’s Haiku for Parents and Children

Event Summary: The more you learn about haiku, the more profound the world of haiku becomes, and it is a perfect way to bring out the honest sensitivity of children. It is also a great opportunity for parents and children to interact with each other. Let’s learn the difficulty and fun of putting your thoughts into the world of 17 syllables of 575 syllables.
Instructor: Keiko Fujii, a member of “Hototogisu Doujin” and “Japan Traditional Haiku Association”
Things to bring: Writing utensils
Writing utensils and a picture book
Number of participants and target audience: 30 people
15 pairs of parents and children of Akashi citizens (children must be elementary school students)
Participation fee: Free of charge
