Mikito Chinen’s autograph session will be held in the Picture Book World in Hyogo 2024!

Mikito Chinen’s book signing event will be held at “Akashi Shimin Hiroba” on the 2nd floor of “Papios Akashi”, a commercial facility in front of Akashi Station. Picture Book World in Hyogo 2024″ will be held at the “Akashi Shimin Hiroba” on the 2nd floor of the commercial facility within the “Picture Book World in Hyogo 2024” event. Mikito Chinen’s autographing session will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024!

Mr. Chinen is an author who writes novels while working as a doctor, and will be signing copies of his “After School Mystery Club” series (published by Lights Inc.) and “Takahiro Amaku’s Mystery Chart” series (published by Jitsugyo no Nihonsha) at the event.

This weekend, Jikito Chinen of “Takao Amaku series” and “After School Mystery Club series” will come to Akashi!

Among Mikito Chinen’s works, the “Houkago Mystery Club” series is published by Akashi-based publisher Ritesha, and “Houkago Mystery Club 1: Goldfish Swimming Pool Incident” was nominated for this year’s Honya Taisho Award, becoming the first children’s book and the first work by a publisher in western Japan to be nominated! It was also the first children’s book and the first to be nominated by a publisher in western Japan.

Picture Book World in Hyogo 2024 is an event sponsored by the Hyogo Prefectural Booksellers Association, an organization of about 110 bookstores in Hyogo Prefecture. The event will include workshops featuring Akashi City-based authors Shin Tanaka and Noriko Fujimoto and Hyogo Prefecture-based author Mame Ikeda, an original picture exhibition, a signing session, and workshops by a total of 13 publishers of books for children.
